Pencil portrait sketch “Anastacia’s Portrait” Original Graphite on Paper framed

Pencil portrait sketch is exceptionally dear to me. After 20 years of not touching a single pencil, this is the first pencil portrait drawing I did.

I was at the beach one day, taking some photographs of my partner’s daughter, Anastacia. I captured a really beautiful shot of her where you can see the horizon reflected in her eyes. I decided to turn it into a pencil portrait sketch and I’m really happy with how it turned out.

Looking closely at the eyes you can really recognize the horizon reflected in them.

I decided to dedicate this pencil portrait sketch to Anastacia, wishing her that the ocean will always remain reflected in her eyes. She is a very friendly person, and I enjoyed capturing her likeness in this portrait.
